GTA San Andreas The Final Remastered Edition
Grand Theft Auto The Trilogy: Definitive Edition was removed from the Rockstar Games store the same day that it was launched. The Trilogy is a bundle with remastered versions GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas was expected to be played on November 11, but due to issues with maintenance and others the game hasn't been able to play since that.
Rockstar Support released an announcement on Twitter it's remastering the bundle and currently "unavailable to play or purchase," as it takes away "files unintentionally included in these versions." The tweet does not specify the type of files are being removed or give an estimated date of when it will return, just saying that it's hoping to restore the file "soon." And as anyone who was able to obtain copies of the games prior to when it was pulled down, Rockstar has barred the players of playing. Rockstar removed earlier versions of its game from its store together with Steam prior to launch of the new trilogy.
The launch of the three games remastered has been a tumultuous. It was reported that the Rockstar Games Launcher went down due to "maintenance" on Thursday, rendering not just the three games that were remastered unplayable however, it also rendered the entire range of games as well as the store and downloads and cloud platform unplayable for more than a day. Rockstar has restored the service for its Games Launcher and other services the night before.
The early evaluations for GTA The Trilogy: Ultimate Edition aren't very encouraging. Reviewers have found the game plagued by bugs and glitches, mostly that affect the graphics. A few players have shared their frustrations on Twitter and the game doesn't appear attractive. From an erupting rainstorm that has the appearance of blinding white droplets, blatant spelling mistakes and general funny-looking characters The game is rife with certain quirks that are serious.
Verge has reached out to Rockstar Games with a request for clarification, but didn't get a response. Although the game isn't available on PC The games are accessible for purchase through the Rockstar Games Store for PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X/S in addition to Nintendo Switch.
